Tesla electric car charging point at Tewkesbury Park
Following a two-year £4million renovation at the Tewkesbury Park, Patrick Jones, general manager, has announced the installation of three Tesla electric car charging points, making the hotel an official "Tesla Charging Partner" .The three rapid charge 3-phase chargers will consist of two for Tesla motors and one for Type 2 Universal electric cars.

The Tesla technology is winning attention and investment from businesses and communities across Britain, and keen to demonstrate its eco credentials, Tewkesbury Park is one of the few hotels in the country to have the new technology. Furthermore, the partnership comes at a time when the ‘green' sector is finally being celebrated as a driver of much-needed economic growth in Britain.

A significant green energy commitment, Tewkesbury Park, set in 163 acres of undulating parkland and commanding an enviable position overlooking the famous site of the AD1471 Battle of Tewkesbury, has just completed the second phase of its extensive renovation with the brand new addition of nine luxury historic suites, two meeting rooms, an Orangery and a Cocktail Lounge. Tesla and EV drivers will find Tewkesbury Park conveniently located just five minutes' from Junction 9 of the M5 motorway too.

Commenting, Patrick Jones said, "We are delighted to be part of a growing network of businesses in the country to invest in this latest technology. Besides Tesla, we will continue to look at every area of the business to become more considerate, by seeking other ways to reduce CO2 emissions."
