The new 75-cover restaurant will provide a focal point for local residents and hotel guests alike, presenting a hub of culinary excellence driven by Executive Head Chef Marco Goldin. Specialising in Mediterranean cicchetti style small plates, Goldin’s carefully selected menu will allow diners to take their taste buds on a tour of the Mediterranean with a collection of delectable mini morsels.
Commenting on his inspiration behind the new venture, Head Chef Marco Goldin -
previously of Cantina Del Ponte and Daphne’s – said, “For me L’AMORE is about taking
the best fresh foods and natural products to create dishes that look amazing on the plate
without pretention or unnecessary gimmicks.”
“Quality and taste are the most important elements. I’ve worked with my team to source the freshest, and where possible, the best locally sourced ingredients to create a seamless blend of English products cooked in an authentic Italian fashion. My aim is to create a menu which is subtle, full of taste and with a real focus on quality ingredients.”
Designed by interior architects KTB in collaboration with Interior Designers Envy London, L’AMORE’s refined restaurant interior incorporates a warm and inviting colour palette, contemporary upholstery and a visually stunning double height Atrium, presenting a light and flexible space. The result is much like the food on offer – a modern, comfortable and cosmopolitan spot for all occasions with a distinct luxury but relaxed feel. L’AMORE’s extensive private dining area also provides the perfect backdrop for entertainment and celebration in an intimate and stylish setting for up to 12 guests.
Using the best fresh and simple ingredients, all beef will be aged for a minimum of 35 days whilst fish dishes are to be sourced directly from the Cornwall coast. Goldin’s favourite Tuscan sausages feature in his spicy home made pasta dish alongside other signature plates including Lobster tagliolini, Veal rib eye cooked Milanese style and Monkfish tail with black and silver risotto. Antipasti creations on the menu combine baked Goats cheese with caponata and chilly jam, grilled octopus with puntarelle and salsa verde and Tiger prawn carpaccio with green mango salad, coconut milk and hot lime dressing. Open throughout the day for breakfast, pre dinner drinks & cocktails through to A La Carte dining, there will also be two additional locations to facilitate informal dining overseen by Goldin, the Guest Lounge and Snug and the alfresco Terrace.
With an impressive European lead wine list and collection of Champagnes including Guy Cadel Carte Blanche Brut, Laurent-Perrier Rosé and Louis Roederer Crisal, L’AMORE offers a specially selected wine selection to accompany all tastes. A range of classical and reimagined cocktails underpin the bar menu with a focus on Martini varieties including strawberry with black pepper and Nutella Martini. L’AMORE provides the perfect setting for an intimate evening, special occasion or social gathering in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Set to open in late June, One Warwick Park is an elegant 39-bedroom hotel offering lstylish and contemporary interior design based in Tunbridge Wells’ historic Pantiles District.
