Five Seas Hotel Cannes continues to celebrate fifth year, with ‘Five Senses’ experience tranquillity through the power of ‘touch’

‘Five years, five stars, five senses, through five unique experiences’

In celebration of its fifth anniversary, the Five Seas Hotel Cannes continues to invite discerning travellers to uncover unique experiences and awaken their five senses throughout the course of 2016, with a unique spa experience themed around ‘touch.’
Available from May to June, the ‘touch’ experience aims to take guests on a sensory journey in the Cinq Mondes and Carita Spa, and begins with an authentic Turkish Hammam bath, incorporating delights such as orange blossom essential oil.

Following this, a Siam Ritual body scrub using creamy papaya purée and fine grains is used to restore radiance and add softness to the skin. The next stage of the journey is the exclusive ‘Five Massage’, dedicated to achieving deep relaxation. Using oshibori hot towels contrasted with fresh, aromatic water droplets, this can be tailored to guests’ needs for the ultimate escape to complete tranquillity. Next on the journey through the ‘touch’ spa experience is a luxurious Carita Facial, involving Targeted Cinetic expertise that aims to awaken the senses, delivering exception results for all skin types.

With the ‘touch’ spa experience, every part of the body is tended to with complete care, from the feet right through to the tips of the fingers as the experience ends with a beautiful Brazillian hand treatment and manicure. As well as the treatments, there’s an abundance of facilities to enjoy at the Five Seas Hotel spa. Elegantly decorated in shades of white, the 250m2 space comprises four treatment rooms – including one double room, two saunas, a Turkish bath, a Relaxation Room and a high-tech fitness suite, available for guests to use throughout their stay.

The ‘touch’ experience follows the celebration of ‘taste’ in March and April, which saw Chef Arnaud Tabarec create a unique five-course menu. The Five Seas Hotel will honour its anniversary celebrating all the senses throughout the course of the year. ‘sound’ will be next, taking advantage of Cannes’ fantastic line-up of summer concerts; ‘smell’, in partnership with a perfumier; and closing with ‘sight’, capturing the best of Cannes’ exquisite landscape through special photography offerings.

Located on the French Riviera next to the Palais des Festivals and the Croisette, the Five Seas Hotel Cannes is a five-star boutique design hotel, featuring 45 rooms and suites. Designed by internationally-acclaimed architects, Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet, the hotel draws inspiration from neighbouring church, the Notre Dame de Bon Voyage, with décor influenced by five continents. The top floor of the hotel houses one of the most elegant of Cannes’ sundecks, offering breathtaking views over the rooftops, with a 13m infinity pool. The Five Seas Hotel is also home to the 250m² Spa Cinq Mondes, with spa treatments and rituals developed by Jean-Louis Poiroux exclusively for the hotel, and one treatment room dedicated exclusively to Carita rituals.
