New Fashion Afternoon Tea at The Gainsborough Bath Spa

The Gainsborough Bath Spa has caused ripples of excitement in the design and fashion world since its opening last year, thanks to its glorious mix of contemporary and classical Georgian design. It is only fitting, therefore, that they have announced the creation of the new Fashion Afternoon Tea at The Gainsborough in celebration of Bath in Fashion 2016, from 18 – 24 April 2016.

Served in the elegant settings of the The Canvas Room and with the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath as the backdrop, there surely is no better or quintessentially British place to indulge in a stylish Afternoon Tea?

Afternoon Tea at The Gainsborough features:
• Choice of fine artisan teas and coffees
• Stylish gourmet sandwiches
• Delicate hand-made scones with clotted creams & preserves
• An array of fashion-inspired pastries
• Option of a glass of Champagne

Bath is one of the UK’s most fashion forward cities, inspiring many a designer with its natural beauty and unique architecture and history. Bath in Fashion 2016 champions this fact by bringing even more colour and style to the city with a week long’s schedule of brilliant events with some of the fashion world’s most important figures and commentators. Red carpet names include Erdem, Julien Macdonald and Justine Picardie.

With its location in the heart of the city centre of Bath, The Gainsborough Bath Spa is the perfect hotel to step into to enjoy the new Afternoon Tea, after a day spent enjoying Bath in Fashion 2016’s stellar programme. There might even be an A-List fashion star at the table enjoying a glass of champagne and a slice of cake at the next table!

While there, why not check in for the night too to fully appreciate the hotel’s stunning design and award-winning Spa Village Bath, which is the only UK hotel spa to offer access to natural thermal waters. The Bath House Circuit in Spa Village Bath pays homage to the Roman Bath Circuit and will have fashionistas feeling fresh and fabulous for the full week’s Bath in Fashion 2016 schedule.

There is also the restaurant Johann Lafer at The Gainsborough where one can enjoy a gourmet evening dining experience and the city’s latest hotspot, The Gainsborough Bar, a chic hideaway for a pre-dinner cocktail or after-dinner liqueur.

The Afternoon Tea at The Gainsborough costs £30 per person, or £55 for Two.
The Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Gainsborough costs £45 per person, or £85 for Two.
