Eccleston Square Hotel's new collaboration with Handy will especially appeal to UK inbound tourists as well as domestic business and leisure travellers.
The smart phone can be used for browsing, navigating (on its interactive maps), staying in touch on social media, research and unlimited business and personal phone calls to land lines and mobiles within the UK and to the USA and Europe.
“We’re making it even easier for guests to stay connected throughout their stay with us, regardless of whether they’re inside or outside of the hotel. Not only is the handset without cost to the guest, so are phone calls to selected countries and they also offer unlimited browsing - and can be used in their room or whilst they're roving around London." says Olivia Byrne the hotel’s owner.
Gone are the days of ridiculous overcharging on calls - Eccleston Square Hotel is one of the first hotels in London to be offering this service.
More about Eccleston Square Hotel: Historical on the outside, this award winning boutique hotel is a coupling of two beautiful Grade-ll listed Georgian Townhouses, one of which used to be the palatial home to Princess Victoria – the granddaughter of Queen Victoria.
Inside, the young Parisian owners have created an ultra-modern hideaway, all the rooms have handmade Swedish Hästens massage beds (worth over £12k each) which feature a vibrating massage setting. Tech features also include an iPad2, a complimentary minibar for direct bookings. Wi-Fi is high speed, and free and the 46” 3D Panasonic TVs have SKYTV. Situated on a stunning London Garden-Square, the hotel is less than a four minute walk from London's Victoria Station and Gatwick Express. Now, with the addition of complementary international calls and unlimited browsing, Eccleston Square Hotel really has created a new hospitality standard for hotel rooms.
