Melia launches its first Jamaican hotel: Melia Braco Village

Meliá Braco Village boasts 232 spacious guest rooms, including 52 suites, which offer a blend of traditional and contemporary design with calming cream, neutral tones and natural wood interiors. Guests can enjoy garden view and ocean front rooms equipped with plush bathrobes and slippers, a Nespresso coffee machine, mini-bar, iron, 42-inch Flat Screen TV, high-speed WiFi internet and 24-hour room service.

The resort offers an exceptional gourmet experience with five on-site restaurants, including The Market Place, an open-kitchen concept, featuring an international buffet; 876 PRIME, which serves steaks and chops; the beachside Jamaican restaurant, O’Grille, which incorporates traditional Caribbean dishes with authentic, locally sourced ingredients; Rasta Pasta, an á la carte Italian restaurant; THE LEVEL’s all-day dining venue, Golden Sand; and Nikkei an innovative culinary concept of Japanese and Peruvian fusion dishes, served at Teppanyaki-style tables.  

Meliá Braco Village has four bars for every occasion, including Wet Bar, a selection of refreshing beverages served by the pool; Jigger, the hotel’s piano bar, offers  a quiet, intimate drink, while The Shaker has an extensive tropical cocktail menu in a vibrant seaside setting, with a curated DJ experience. During the daytime, Chill Out Bar serves traditional jerk style roasted cuisine beachside and transforms into a relaxed cocktail lounge at night.  

The resort boasts two beachfront pools and sporting facilities, including a football pitch, a basketball court and 24-hour fitness centre, as well as a luxurious YHI Spa, offering guests a range of revitalizing treatments. Guests can also indulge in exclusive living through Meliá Hotels & Resorts’ signature VIP concept, THE LEVEL.  

THE LEVEL offers guests ocean front and beachside rooms, plus additional extras to create a memorable and tranquil stay, such as a daily turndown service. THE LEVEL guests receive access to the VIP LEVEL Lounge, with private check-in and complimentary afternoon snacks, personalised concierge service, exclusive area for families and the opportunity to dine daily in Golden Sand for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meliá Braco Village is the ideal location for weddings and special events. Brides and Grooms can choose from two gazebos, an oceanfront or garden view location, as well as a variety of indoor options for ceremonies and wedding breakfast celebrations.  

For business travelers, Meliá Braco Village has a business centre and complimentary WiFi in public spaces, as well as two designated rooms for meetings and events with a capacity for up to 100 people.
