Blind Dining comes to Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa as part of 24 hour dining extravaganza

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa
Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa is welcoming guests to a gastronomic feast of epic proportions. For 24 hours of pure indulgence guests will be spoiled with five different dining experiences with bespoke menus tailored to individual taste.
To push the spectacle further beyond the bounds of the ordinary dining experience guests will even partake in a private blindfolded supper on the beach.

Before the epicurean extravaganza at the 50 villa retreat begins guests will meet with the resort chefs to discuss their favourite ingredients and dietary requirements. Armed with this information, chefs will then craft a menu guaranteed to please.

To begin the proceedings guests will be treated to a cocktail and canapé pairing on the island’s white sand beach. Tranquil, intimate and spellbindingly beautiful, Hadahaa is a haven of just 50 villas, miles from the nearest island. As the sun sets over the Indian Ocean guests will have the chance to unwind and relax into 24 hours of pure indulgent bliss.

Once sufficiently merry the guests will be escorted to a private location on the beach, upon arrival at which they will be blindfolded. With senses heightened and flavours intensified guests will experience a three-course banquet crafted from their favourite ingredients. The sounds of the waves lapping at the shore, the feeling of the gentle breeze on the skin and the rubbing of sand between the toes will be the sole accompaniment to the dinner in the dark, served by Hadahaa’s accomplished staff.

The following morning, the treats continue with a private champagne breakfast served in the comfort of each guest’s villa. Foodies will then be invited to take a stroll with the chef through Hadahaa’s hydroponic garden where they will learn about this innovative plant growing method and the various edible specimens growing in the garden, before relishing a healthy three-course gourmet lunch.

Guests will then have to opportunity to work up an appetite again by exploring some of the Maldives’ best snorkelling sites, or taking part in a spot of water sports at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa’s private new water-sports island. The culinary journey will be rounded off with some well-deserved afternoon tea above the sea in The Drift water villa. Mouth-watering cakes and freshly made sandwiches will be served as the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and tea waft through the air.
