Two new hotel contracts confirmed for Focus Hotels management

Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre

Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa, Hinckley and the new Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre join Focus Hotels’ growing family of quality three- and four-star hotels

One of the UK’s most successful hotel management companies, Focus Hotels, has announced new long term management contracts with two more hotels: The brand new three-star Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre, which is owned by the McGrath Group and was opened under Focus Hotels’ management in October 2015; and the four-star Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa has been purchased by Ampthill Investments - an investment vehicle owned by Focus Hotels’ chief executive Peter Cashman and his family and associates.

The Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre is ideally situated opposite the Cabot Circus shopping quarter in the heart of the city, providing the perfect gateway for exploring the rich history of Bristol and experiencing the lively shops, theatres and nightlife. The hotel’s 186 stylish, air-conditioned guest rooms are all equipped with free WiFi, a large desk with ergonomic chair, a comfy Hampton Bed™ and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Other modern facilities include a hotel bar; a handy 24-hour pizza service; a 24-hour fitness centre with contemporary cardio, resistance and weights equipment; and a work zone.

Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa is an elegant four-star country house hotel located in Hinckley, within easy reach of the M1, M6, M42 and M69 motorways and just 30 minutes’ drive from Birmingham International Airport. Blending historical character with contemporary design, Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa features 96 bedrooms and suites, a recently refurbished restaurant with outdoor terrace and private dining room; and a spa and fitness centre, as well as extensive dedicated facilities for weddings, events, meetings and conferences.
