The Bailey’s Hotel London dates back to 1876 and was one of the very first purpose-built hotels in the capital. Established by the charismatic Sir James, the hotel was the very peak of modernity at the time of its opening. The refurbishment of the Victorian property will see all bedrooms elegantly redesigned, along with the reception and public areas.
Olives restaurant will also be refurbished, alongside the bar. The relaunch of the property, following completion of a multi-million pound refurbishment project, is scheduled for January 2016.
Clive Harrington, Senior Vice President Operations – Europe of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc, commented: “We are immensely proud of the transformation of The Bailey’s Hotel London and excited to enter this new phase in its history. This quintessentially British hotel is simply inspiring, with its rich heritage and beautiful new design.”
