Marriott International launches competition to celebrate one million mobile check-ins

Marriott Rewards Members Using Marriott Mobile Check-In Have the Chance to Win a Share of Millions of Marriott Rewards Points

To celebrate its millionth mobile check-in, Marriott International (NASDAQ:MAR) is announcing a competition across its portfolio of brands. From now to December 31st, 2015, Marriott Rewards members who register and check-in using the Marriott Mobile app before their stay will be entered to win a share of millions of Marriott Rewards points redeemable against hotel stays, exclusive events and fabulous shopping.

Throughout the celebratory promotion Marriott will be giving away monthly prizes of 50,000 Marriott Rewards points and a grand prize of 250,000 points to lucky guests checking in with the Marriott Mobile app. Marriott Rewards is a passport to once-in-a-lifetime experiences and points can be redeemed on more than 4,000 hotels around the world as well as flights, hotel perks, car rental and shopping. For example, 250,000 points could be redeemed for 5 nights at The London EDITION, a Raleigh Wayfarer Classic Men’s Bike, 100,000 frequent flyer air miles with a participating airline or two pairs of Beats by Dr Dre Solo HD Headphones.

To enter, guests must be a Marriott Rewards or Ritz-Carlton Rewards member and use the Marriott Mobile app to check-in for a stay in Austria, Canada, China, France, India, Mexico, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom in hotels that offer mobile check-in.

With the Marriott Mobile App, check-in is simple. Guests can check-in after 4 pm the day before their arrival and will receive an automatic notification when their room is ready. The mobile check-in feature is part of the free and newly updated Marriott Mobile App available in the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play.
