The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant, a go-to for cocktail aficionados across the city, will be launching its own exclusive gin blend this month, offering London’s bar-flies a truly unique Summer sundowner. Working with The Cambridge Distillery, the world’s first gin tailor and curator of gins to some of the world’s finest restaurants and institutions including the House of Lords, the new blend is now available to enjoy in the glamorous surrounds of The Rib Room Bar and outdoor Rib Room Terrace.

Chosen for its unique mastery and personal approach, The Cambridge Distillery has created a blend to purvey The Rib Room’s dream gin. A blend fused with ingredients to evoke nostalgia yet invigorate with a contemporary punch. While some of its elements will remain top secret, The Rib Room can disclose just some of the botanical essences sourced to create this ethereal tipple.

The Rib Room Gin captures botanical distillates of juniper cone, coriander seed, lemon zest, root ginger, orange zest and violet petal. Each of these elements are individually distilled just 1.5 litres at a time under vacuum – a modern technique which enables the soft, floral botanicals to be distilled at room temperature, preserving their delicate aromatics.

For purists, the end result is recommended best served over ice with a splash of tonic while The Rib Room’s master mixologist will also offer up the perfect mix for cocktail lovers.
