The Belfry Hotel & Resort's Ryder Grill launches new à la carte menu

The Ryder Grill, located within The Belfry Hotel & Resort, has launched a new à la carte menu under the leadership of Chef Director, Glen Watson. The menu has been designed to appeal to an array of palettes and provide more exquisite options for guests to enhance their culinary experience.
With the showcase grill at the heart of The Ryder Grill, the new menu compliments the succulent Chateaubriand and aged steaks that diners have come to expect from the Belfry’s signature restaurant.

New dishes include appetisers such as Tuna Tartare served with chopped avocado, sesame seeds, wasabi cream, and ginger dressing and Grilled scallops with a minted green pea puree and crispy chorizo. Main course options will now range from marinated duck breast served with caramelised onion risotto to sea bass or vegetable wellington.

Chef Director, Glen Watson, has been instrumental in implementing the new à la carte menu, continuing to position The Belfry Hotel & Resort as a top gastronomic destination at the heart of the country.

Glen, who joined The Ryder Grill in 2013 from the Albert Roux Consultancy, commented: “We are all very excited by the new menu that we feel appeals to a wider audience ensuring all customers have a memorable dining experience with us.

“We wanted to show how abundant our food is year round and cater for a number of dining needs, offering dishes like Grilled tuna mignon and Lobster frites for those light summer evenings and our signature 28 day aged Scotch beef perfect as part of a filling three course meal suitable at any time of the year!”

In addition to the à la carte menu, The Ryder Grill also offers a traditional Sunday Lunch, to be enjoyed in the company of friends and family in a relaxed environment. From 1pm – 5pm each Sunday, the restaurant provides a mouth-watering selection of starters, delicious mains from the Grill carvery and homemade desserts.

With its new menu The Ryder Grill caters for all needs and matches the mood of any occasion; guests can enjoy a romantic date night, unwind with a relaxing meal after one of The Belfry’s signature spa treatments, celebrate a special event or simply gather friends after a breath taking round of golf on one of The Belfry’s three courses. Diners can round off a perfect visit to the Ryder Grill by enjoying a night cap in the Brabazon bar, all culminating in an overnight stay in one of the hotels signature rooms.
