Starhotels operates 20 properties in the 4-star category in the heart of Italy’s most beautiful cities, with one 5-star hotel in Paris, a deluxe hotel in New York and two boutique hotels in London.
The group is expanding and is looking to grow market share and capitalise on the meetings and events facilities available within new properties in London.
Steve Ockerby, chair of International Projects at the HBAA said: “This is a really exciting time for the HBAA and we are delighted to be signing Starhotels to the HBAA International Charter. They are a passionate hotel group with big ideas and it will be great to see the opportunities that will result from joining our network.”
Elizabeth Fabri, president of the Starhotels Group, said: “The whole team here at Starhotels is extremely happy and proud to have signed up to the HBAA International Charter. It’s a real sign of our global expansion intentions and confirmation that the HBAA is one of the most respected forums in our industry.”
The International Charter fosters best practice between HBAA agency members and the international hotels and venues they work with. Signees commit to the standards of the Charter, which protects and strengthens the unique relationship that exists between agents and their venue suppliers.
