Motel One Wien-Hauptbahnhof opens in Vienna

Latest Motel One offers stunning Vienna views and excellent central location from just €69

Motel One Wien-Hauptbahnhof opened its doors on Wednesday 27th May, providing visitors to Vienna with centrally located, beautifully designed accommodation at affordable prices. The latest opening for the budget design hotel chain boasts excellent European transport links via its namesake the Wien-Hauptbahnhof rail station and at 60 metres high, the building offers spectacular views from some of its 533 rooms which span 17 floors.

Each Motel One is different, taking its design influences from its city’s culture and history to offer customers a unique travel experience. The Wien-Hauptbahnhof location incorporates historical design influence from the infamous Belvedere Castle, Wiener Werkstätte (a production company set up in the 20th Century for Vienna’s artistic community) and the UNESCO World Heritage Semmeringbahn mountain railway.

Fabrics from Backhausen, the only company to still produce fabrics with the original patterns of Wiener Werkstätte clothe the bar lounge stools bringing Vienna’s artistic flair to life. A chandelier by the world famous Viennese manufacturer Lobmeyr and carpets by Jan Kath symbolising the lily pond of Castle Belvedere, combine the city’s rich architecture and history with the hotel’s modern comforts.

The One Lounge is split across two levels and features a stunning outdoor terrace, offering travelers a great breakfast to start the day and relaxing atmosphere, sumptuous décor and comfortable furnishings after a long day exploring the city.

Motel One is all about great design at an affordable cost and this latest hotel supplies quality and service at budget prices that leisure and business travelers dream of.  The budget design hotel chain currently offers rooms across 20 different European cities and is set to open another 2 hotels this year including locations in Manchester and Amsterdam.
