UNI takes its name from the Japanese word for sea urchin, a delicacy in Japan. The restaurant’s menu is a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine, Nikkei. UNI has recently been selected as one of the top 10 new restaurants in 2014 in London by the Daily Telegraph. The restaurant counts many a-list celebrities, royal families and influencers as its guests.
Located in the Plaza Village at the resort and designed by the famous Marbella based French interior designer, Jean Pierre Martel, the opening of UNI will offer a new gastronomic journey for guests.
The new menu will showcase butterfish, tuna and salmon Tiraditos, along with naked lobster ceviche, Wagyu beef Tataki with caviar and black cod miso with anticucho sauce. The extensive Sake menu which complements Japanese cuisine, is accompanied by a selection of Pisco Sours, Peruvian brandy that best enhances Peruvian cuisine. After dinner, guests are invited to sample one of the new and creative cocktails.
