On Sunday, March 15 the Irish-inspired venue will offer mums and families an afternoon filled with an indulgent two or three course feast, followed by a live performance from local music talent, Simply Soul.
Chief Executive, Conor O’Donovan said: “Eating out with the family is a great way to spend quality time together on Mother’s Day. By providing a specially selected Mother’s Day menu throughout the day, families are free to plan the special day around what suits them best.
“To add to the celebrations, we will also treat both diners and the public alike to great evening entertainment to really get the merriments flowing. From 7pm, Simply Soul will kick start the live music, which will then be followed by a late night disco for all to enjoy.”
To begin their celebratory feast, guest can choose from a selection of starters including Chicken Liver Pate served with Red Onion Chutney and Crusty Bread; Prawn Cocktail served in Mari Rose sauce accompanied by Brown Bread and Butter and Grilled Goats Cheese set on a Herb Salad drizzled with Balsamic Vinegar & Pesto Dressing.
Mains include Roast Beef Honey Mustard Glazed Ham served with Roast Potatoes, Chefs Selection of Seasonal Vegetables, Apple Sauce and Homemade Gravy; Grilled Salmon served on a bed of Colcannon Mash accompanied by a creamy Dill sauce and Wild Mushroom Ravioli served in a Creamy Spinach Sauce.
For dessert, diners can choose from a selection of irresistible desserts including Fruits of the Forrest Tart, Strawberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Fudge Cake served with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Conor added: “Rather than simply offering just foodie celebrations, we wanted to go the extra mile this Mother’s Day to provide something a little bit different.
“O’Connor’s Bar & Grill has everything covered this Mother’s Day to make it an enjoyable day and night for all who attend.”
The Mother’s Day menu is available on Sunday, March 15. Three courses are priced at £17.95 per person and £12.95 for children. Likewise, two courses cost £14.95 and £9.95 for children. Entertainment starts at 7pm and costs £10 for diners and £15 for general admission.
