The package follows a recent survey that found an unhealthy workforce costs the UK £58 billion a year.1 Sick leave and working while unwell costs companies, on average, 7.78% of their yearly wage bill.
Luton Hoo’s new package, in partnership with Chillisauce Ltd, has two options for delegates to choose from, which focus on healthy living and outdoor exercise. Both options include two servings of blended tea and freshly ground coffee throughout the day, a delicious buffet lunch and use of one of the hotel’s meeting rooms for four hours.
Delegates then choose between a 5-A-Day Superfood Smoothie workshop or a 1000 acre challenge around the hotel’s magnificent estate.
The 5-A-Day Superfood Smoothie workshop, hosted by a professional nutritionist will provide strategies to manage a healthy diet with a busy lifestyle. Delegates will then be able to put their knowledge to the test when by designing their own 5-a-day super smoothie before sharing their creation with colleagues.
Alternatively, the 1000 acre challenge will see delegates navigating their way around Luton Hoo’s stunning grounds equipped with a map marked with a series of detailed locations. The challenge, once delegates have mastered the fine art of map and compass reading, is to cover as many locations as possible using the most effective route, and get back to base within the time allocated.

The 5-A-Day Superfood Smoothie option costs £110+VAT per person and the 1000 Acre Challenge option costs £100+VAT per person. Both options require a minimum of 50 people.
