Kata Rocks pulled out all the stops for its grand opening.
Dripping with fresh white orchids in all the right places, the event started with Jose Padilla’s iconic sunset sessions from Ibiza, followed by a quartet of pop violinists and a solo saxophonist alongside resident Phuket DJ Nemo.
With fabulous free-flowing tapas and bites accompanied by bottomless glasses of bubbles and cocktails, the party kicked-off in full swing for nearly 300 guests and residents.
“We were extremely excited to have José at our grand opening and stay with us at Kata Rocks, and look forward to much more creative collaborations inthefuture,” said General Manager Scot Toon.
José Padilla said: “I was grateful and feel extremely privileged to be invited to play at Kata Rocks. Everyone was wonderful and Kata Rocks was one of the most stunning sunsets I have ever seen, making it perfect for my music.”
Kata Rocks is making aserious impression with design awards and is earning recognition as a new Phuket hotspot.
On the southern headland of Kata Beach, the resort of 34 luxury one, two, three and four-bedroom sky villas, each with their own private pool, enjoys idyllic panoramic views over the Andaman Sea.
Richard Pope, CEO of developers Infinite Luxury and Kata Rocks, described the opening celebration as “a fantastic crowning success in the long but fabulous journey of Kata Rocks”.
