Maritime flair is added to Motel One, with the opening of Motel One Bremen

There is no stopping  Motel One, the budget design hotel chain, as it opens its 52nd hotel with the opening of their first hotel in Bremen. Motel One Bremen brings with it a new nautical twist on the brands unique design concept . The new hotel offers stylish accommodation from as little as  £54 per night and follows the trusted Motel One concept of “Great Design for Little Money”.

Located in the city center, near the river Weser, the Weser Promenade and Bremen cathedral, the new 254 bedroom hotel is ideally situated for discovering the German city. Guest rooms are designed to be fresh and functional to guarantee a great night’s sleep. Egyptian cotton sheets, premium box spring beds, LOEWE flat screen TV and a rain shower provide high quality facilities in every room.

The nautical inspired interior of the hotel adds a playful twist on the city’s maritime history. In the One Lounge guests are reminded of traditional marine trade routes with a nautical chart on the ceiling.  Basket lights, model boats and linen cloths complete the look and feel in the public areas.  The hotel also boasts an outdoor lounge for those warmer evenings and days, drinks and snacks can be enjoyed in the great outdoors. 

Bremen offers guests at Motel One a wealth of things to do. Art lovers will be in heaven with the close proximity of the ‘Weserburg’ (Weser Castle), which is one of the biggest museums for contemporary arts in Germany. Those after some retail therapy will be well looked after with Weserpark shopping centre within easy reach of the hotel. The opening of Motel One Bremen will be followed by the opening of Berlin-Leipziger Platz and the opening of the highly anticipated first Motel One in London. Currently Motel One has 52 hotels with over 11,900 rooms across Belgium, Germany, UK and Austria. By 2017 the hotel chain aims to grow to 73 hotels with close to 18,400 rooms.
