Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore presents Sunglasses at Work, a destination lifestyle-meeting concept that incorporates elements of business, pleasure and leisure for organisers to host effective meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE).

The Sunglasses at Work series comprises three unique settings. Engage with Nature promotes the journey of wellness and a touch of greenness for meeting participants to wind down in between breaks. Explore will appeal to groups looking to carry out team-building activities in a socially responsible manner. Excite is suitable for those seeking an adrenaline-rush MICE retreat with a series of land, sea and air obstacles.

Activities range from attempting acrobatic stunts eight metres off ground at The Flying Trapeze, beach volleyball, beach cleaning and survival skills challenge to enjoying a beach barbecue, harvesting herbs from the herb garden to create the participants’ personalised salads or dishes and brief sessions of neck, body and foot massages.

“We are blessed in two areas – Singapore as a key player for the global MICE market and the resort’s unique location as the only beachfront resort in this entire country. Activities are designed specifically to capitalise on these two strengths to capture the increasing demand of meeting organisers seeking creative MICE options, thus ultimately setting us apart from other competitors in the industry,” said Jennifer Yong, the resort’s director of sales and marketing.

Sunglasses at Work is available at all Shangri-La resorts in South East Asia and Fiji.
