The Leading Hotels of the World announce six new Members

Leading Hotels of the World has selected six more outstanding hotels from Europe and Brazil to join their collection of exceptional properties. From a former baroque palace in Prague to a sleek and contemporary hotel in Belgrade, Leading Hotels of the World continue to seek out the very best unique and unforgettable hotels around the world.

On a private peninsula, Ponta dos Ganchos is surrounded by the waters of Brazil’s Emerald Coast. Backed by a verdant rainforest at the edge of a sandy bay, the hotel envelopes guests in unpretentious luxury. The 25 bungalows boast a simple, uncluttered décor, in soothing neutral colours with large beds and fine Egyptian cotton bedding. There is a wellness centre, as well as beach swimming and water sports.  

Prices start at approx. £389 per night.

Walking distance from the fortress, National Theater and National Museum, Square Nine Hotel Belgrade is an architectural statement. Behind its impressive façade, the lobby features collections of books and art, a polished limestone floor, and design-style furniture. The 51 spacious rooms and suites, are sleek, elegant and peaceful. Set on the Douro River on the outskirts of Porto, Pousada do Porto Freixo Palace Hotel & National Monument incorporates an 18th-century palace and a 19th-century factory, surrounded by formal gardens.  The 87 spacious rooms and suites, many overlooking the river, offer contemporary elegance, comfort and technology. On a rocky outcrop in Gordes, Provence, is the picturesque La Bastide de Gordes. Carved into the rock face of the hill, and built on 12th-century ramparts, the chateau is integrated into fortifications of the village. ME Ibiza is located in Santa Eulalia, the third largest town on the island.
