Set in three acres of private farm land, just four miles outside of York, the house is the perfect location for a country getaway with the added bonus of having all that York has to offer on the doorstep..
Rob Clayton, manager of Deighton Lodge comments;
"Since buying the converted Farm House in 2013, we have been running the business as a boutique
bed and breakfast. However, many guests during their stay have also enquired if they could hire the entire house and some have wanted to block-book rooms to return for a group or family holiday. So in response to customer demand we are adding exclusive hire and group booking packages to our bed and breakfast service.
We have six bedrooms in total, a snooker room, a library, a lovely large sitting room over-looking the garden and some beautiful grounds with bridleways to explore - either by foot or on one of the several bicycles we happily lend to our more active visitors. We have found that guests really enjoy spending time together relaxing at the house after taking in the many sites and attractions York has to offer."
Kate McMullen, Head of Visit York said: "Deighton Lodge was a finalist in the 2014 Visit York Tourism awards. Set amongst beautiful surroundings, the bed and breakfast offers guests a unique group experience. York is increasingly becoming a popular destination for family celebrations, as it's easy to reach from all parts of the UK and we're confident this new service will prove very popular.'
