Dorsett Hospitality International goes from strength to strength

Dorsett Hospitality International Ltd, one of Asia’s leading hospitality groups, has reported a period of sustained growth and expansion. The company, which includes the hotel brands Dorsett Hotels & Resorts, d.Collection and Silka Hotels, reported annual revenue of HK$1,785.9 million (approx. £134,729,564), with a year on year increase of 54.9% compared to 2013. Total profit for the year was a total of HK$376.6 million (approx. £28,410,971).

Dorsett Hospitality International is an international hotel and hospitality organisation, operating hotels in major Asian cities in Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and Singapore. Most recently, the Dorsett Hotels & Resorts brand opened Dorsett Shepherds Bush, London, marking the company’s first venture into Europe.  

Miss Winnie Chiu, President and Executive Director of Dorsett Hospitality International Limited, said, “We are delighted to see the growth of the company as we expand beyond Asia and into the UK. Our entry into Europe is the start of an extensive series of plans, culminating in the opening of up to 10 new London hotels within the next 5 years. We are excited to have signed a UK PR agency, Grifco PR, and are ready to take the steps necessary to get these upcoming projects off the ground. As well as launching new properties are of course equally focused on continual innovation at all of our properties. For example, recently we have introduced free WIFI to all of our hotel properties, aiding the needs of the contemporary business and leisure traveller.”  

Latest News from Dorsett Hospitality International
In the month of June 2014, Dorsett Hotels & Resorts opened four new hotels in Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and the UK; out of which three of the hotels fall under the Dorsett Hotels & Resorts brand, the Dorsett Shepherds Bush in London, the Lushan Resort in China and Dorsett Tsuen Wan in Hong Kong.

Upcoming Projects for Dorsett Hospitality International
Dorsett Hospitality International is excited to announce their next upcoming London project, Dorsett City, London, located in Aldgate. This east London property, in keeping with the surrounding buildings and planning requirements, will be a sleek and sensitively designed hotel. Scheduled to open in Q4 of 2015, this property marks the progression of the brand’s rapid expansion across London and the UK. There are currently 11 hotels under various stages of planning and development, 4 under management contracts and 7 owned properties within the company. Upon completion of these projects, the Group’s total room inventories will exceed 8,500 rooms. Dorsett Hospitality International will continue to seek new opportunities for growth.
