New opening to further enhance Vinpearl’s standing in the Vietnam hotel marketLuxury hotel operator Vinpearl is set to open its fourth hotel in Vietnam this autumn with the launch of a stunning new 750-room resort property on tropical Phu Quoc Island, in the Gulf of Thailand, 50km away from Ha Tien (Kien Giang province) mainland.
Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc, which is a 45-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City or a two-and-a-half-hour speedboat transfer from Rach Gia, will boast 750 rooms across eight categories, from the 46sqm entry level Deluxe rooms to the 144 opulent 615sqm Ocean View Villas.
Activities will be a key focus at the new property, from parasailing and jet skiing to sailing and kayaking, all backed by the brand’s trademark touches including a luxury Vincharm Spa, onsite Vinpearl Amusement Park and golf at the 27-hole Vinpearl Golf Club Phu Quoc.
In addition, pristine Phu Quoc Island, the majority of which is a national park, offers stunning beaches and untouched nature and is renowned for its hiking, scuba diving and snorkelling. Other local attractions include shopping for souvenirs at the pearl farm at Duong To village and sampling the fresh catches at Ham Ninh fishing village.
Vinpearl’s Business Development Manager Ha Minh Thu said the property’s broad appeal, combined with direct flights to Phu Quoc from regional hubs such as Singapore (two-and-a-half-hours) and Siem Reap, Cambodia (45 minutes) as well as Ho Chi Minh, should make it a popular inclusion on both Vietnam-only and multi-centre breaks.

Golf and MICE are key focuses for Vinpearl, which earlier this year launched a range of generous packages such as Stay and Play and Meet and Stay.
