Four Seasons unveils new collection of exclusive Extraordinary Experiences

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts continues to set the benchmark in luxury travel with the introduction of a new collection of Extraordinary Experiences exclusive to the properties. Building on a legacy of delivering memorable, highly customised guest experiences, every itinerary in the collection was conceived with the discerning modern luxury traveller in mind. 

These immersive, hands-on adventures are as individual as the destinations where they take place. Conceived by each property's team, these diverse offerings deliver a truly local perspective on an exclusive and customised luxury travel experience.

The collection can be viewed online, where dynamic videos, vignettes and image galleries featuring the world's most beautiful and desirable locations bring the stories behind each experience to life. Travellers will be able to plan their next holiday by selecting the part of the world they'd like to explore and choose from incredible journeys from different categories – from Arts and Entertainment to Gastronomy and Sports, private viewings of some of the world's most breathtaking art collections, bespoke extreme travel adventures, exclusive 5-star dining experiences and everything in between.

Here are a few highlights from the new collection:
• Grab the camera, step into a vintage motorcycle sidecar and tour the historic streets of Lisbon with professional photographer Harold Naaijer. Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon offers an exclusive opportunity to capture the Portuguese capital during a four-hour tour cruising through the winding streets to discover the city's most spectacular sites. Naaijer offers professional insights into framing shots, documenting evocative scenes and working with natural light. The tour also includes a gourmet picnic lunch and 30-minute session with Naaijer to select favourite shots and assemble an album. 

• On a private terrace atop the famed Ponte Vecchio – a Renaissance bridge lined by shops and jewellers spanning the Arno River – guests will linger over a four-course meal designed by Michelin-starred Chef Vito Mollica of Four Seasons Hotel Firenze. The evening also offers guests a chance to peruse some of the world's most stunning jewellery including a stunning "Four Seasons" ring of white gold, diamonds and sapphire by Ponte Vecchio jeweller Dante Cardini.

• Delve deeper into the tradition and culture of Bali by spending the day in the life of a local farmer. Start the experience with a private guided walk from Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan through the spellbinding Ayung river valley followed by a picnic breakfast in a rice field pavilion, known as bale, and then help local farmers plant rice. Next, venture to the spa villa close to the banks of the river for a one-of-a-kind bathing ritual. Experience the river's cleansing properties with an invigorating river-stone scrub followed by a soothing coconut and ginger massage. The journey will finish with an authentic farmer's lunch of nasi campur. 

• Surfers are known to travel the world over a lifetime in pursuit of the perfect wave. Now guests at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa can join a team of expert guides aboard a seaplane as it circles the islands and atolls in quest of the ultimate surf experience.

• Shoot for the moon, the stars and everything in between during an exclusive stargazing and dining experience available only with Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf. Guests can dine beneath a star show at the Peter Harrison Planetarium at the Royal Observatory, followed by a private tour of the Astronomy galleries with an expert astronomer. The evening culminates with the chance to view the heavens via a high-powered telescope, with the option of naming a star. 

• Climbing the world's great peaks appears on many bucket lists, and with Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, guests can experience this thrilling landscape accompanied by a personal guide, chef and butler. Guests ascend Mount Fuji during on a two-day bespoke adventure of a lifetime that also includes gourmet meals, hot spring dips, and plenty of time to pause and enjoy the breathtaking views.

• Some may call a private box at the opera followed by a sumptuous dinner the perfect evening – with Four Seasons, a small group of guests can now enjoy Don Giovanni in the very theatre where it debuted in 1787, and then savour dinner on the rooftop of Four Seasons Hotel Prague, accompanied by live music performed by members of the Estates Theatre Orchestra.

• Journey into the heart of Langkawi's UNESCO-endorsed Kilim Karst Geoforest Park for an eco-tour of exotic wildlife and ancient limestone caves, guided by a Four Seasons naturalist. During this exclusive excursion with Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, guests will venture by boat into this nature preserve to experience up-close encounters with exotic animals and Malaysia's most ancient geological formations. Back at the Resort visit the Geopark Discovery Centre – the only one of its kind – to learn more about the adventure. 

• Explore the Serengeti on an expert-led nature walk and uncover wildlife secrets at the Discovery Centre, the first interactive museum of its kind in East Africa. During a 90-minute guided walk immerse in the nature of the destination on an intimate new level by exploring the landscape in search of wildlife, animal tracks, interesting insects and local flora. Led by Four Seasons Safari Lodge, Serengeti's resident naturalist, Maasai guides and park rangers, install a camera trap to digitally record elephants, cheetahs, lions and leopards on the move – then review images and findings back at the Discovery Centre for a personalised photo collection.
