The Dolder Grand unveils new Gallery Lounges this August

The Dolder Grand, Zurich is expanding its banqueting and seminar facilities, culminating in the opening of the Gallery Lounges on the 1st August. Located in a terraced construction on the east side of the hotel, the new 344 sqm space will add to the hotel’s pre-existing 715 sqm Gallery.

The venues can be reserved in conjunction and are connected by a glass lift and stairs. The Gallery Lounges will boast a stylish lobby with three combinable function rooms, which can accommodate up to 290 delegates for drinks receptions and 190 for banquets. Various seating configurations will be possible, from an elegant living room layout to a more classic concert arrangement for up to 300.

Finished with elegant parquet flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows, the sleek interiors are flooded with natural light. The Gallery Lounges also have direct access to a terrace, offering spectacular views of Zurich and the lake. The Swiss architectural firm IttenBrechbühl has been appointed to oversee the construction works and Dreicon has been responsible for the interior design of the project.

To celebrate the opening of the Gallery Lounges, the Dolder Grand is launching a special offer from 1st August 2014. A 15% discount will be applied to full day seminar packages priced at CHF 170 per person (approx. £117). The packages incorporate exclusive hire of an executive meeting room, morning and afternoon coffee breaks and a three course-menu or stand-up lunch, created by Executive Chef, Gion Fetz.  The discount will also be applied to the Banquets Dinner Selection package, priced at CHF 195 per person (approx. £134). This includes a welcome reception, a four-course dinner and floral decoration in addition to the event room hire. The offer is available for Gallery bookings in combination with the Gallery Lounges, until 31st December 2014, for a minimum of 180 delegates. Reservations must be made by 31st August 2014.
