Obama’s bill at The Hotel in Brussels

A month ago President Obama made a 24-hour visit to Brussels, primarily to have discussions with the EU and NATO. However, he was able to see quite a lot of the city by simply taking a suite at The Hotel.
The property (at one time a Hilton) stands 94 metres high in the city centre and offers the highest viewpoint in Brussels, with panoramic views in every direction.

However, not only was the President’s stay exceptional, but so, it is reported, was his bill. It has to be remembered that a host of people have to prepare a Presidential stay in advance and that Obama is accompanied by groups of officials to advise during top-level meetings.

These are the reasons given for his bill at The Hotel, which was just a little over 1.5 million US dollars.
