Ocean restaurant reopens with three new menus

Two-Michelin Star restaurant, Ocean, located at VILA VITA Parc, will reopen tomorrow, 3rd April.  For this highly anticipated reopening, Executive Chef Hans Neuner and his team have prepared three tasting menus, inspired by spring and local seasonal products, promising to be a memorable experience.

The first, a 3-course tasting menu (95€ / £78 per person), includes rock octopus with tomato, smoked veal marrow with basil, braised veal tail with Périgord winter truffles, celery and duck liver and dessert.  The second 5-course menu (145€ / £120 per person), includes the above dishes, as well as red mullet with Pata Negra ham, mussels with Spello beans and angled sea bass with boletus and Breton artichokes. The third option, a 7-course menu (185€ / £153 per person), includes all the above dishes plus langoustine ceviche with beetroot and radish, “Monte da Vinha” cheese with chestnuts, quince and rum; and Madagáscar banana with caramel, corn, hazelnuts and passion fruit.  

To coincide with the reopening, VILA VITA Parc is also launching “An Ocean for Two”:  a gourmet overnight stay in one of the resort´s luxurious double rooms, which includes a 3-course tasting dinner in Ocean with wine pairing and a Champagne aperitif, for those who wish to enjoy an epicurean escapade à deux with the beautiful Atlantic ocean as a backdrop.

Price: from 476€ - £393 for two people.
