Skiathos Princess Hotel to unveil €1.5million refurbishment

Located on a prime stretch of coastline just moments from blue, Aegean waters, Skiathos Princess Hotel is getting ready to re-open its doors in May following an extensive refurbishment to almost half (45%) of its rooms.
Capturing the height of laid-back-luxury is never as easy as it looks. As tastes evolve and expectations rise, Santikos Collection invests in the Skiathos Princess Hotel every year to ensure that rooms are kept to the high standards expected from its discerning guests.  So far spending €1.5million on on-going work, the unveiling of the new look Premier Building (all 40 rooms) and Bay Building (seven deluxe family rooms) in May will be the most dramatic yet.

Designed by Sotiris Bakopoulos, both buildings have been elegantly refurbished to remain in keeping with the Santikos Collection’s brand essence; offering an irresistible blend of heritage, lifestyle, culture and elegance. The Deluxe Family Rooms within the Bay Building offer chic design with soft but contemporary furnishings and state-of-the-art facilities including flat screen TVs and wireless technology. Five of the seven rooms offer direct access to the gardens via furnished wood deck patios - and all are interconnecting with one double and two single beds making them perfect for families of four.

The Premier Building offers the widest selection of room categories throughout the entire resort; with seven to choose from across 40 beautifully appointed rooms. From Deluxe Doubles and Deluxe Junior Suites -  offering all of life’s comforts framed by luxuriant touches – to Premier Rooms with private pools or Suites with Jacuzzis, the Premier Building offers a heightened experience for guests of the resort looking for that little bit extra from their stay. Recognising the need to offer a fresh, five star experience every summer season, Skiathos Princess Hotel will soon be ready to showcase its new look once it reopens on 2nd May 2014.
