After a decade of success, J Plus Hotel by Yoo will be undergoing trend-setting renovations to further strengthen its longstanding position as one of Asia’s unique Philippe Starck-designed boutique hotels as well as Hong Kong’s first boutique hotel.
Unveiling of the new J Plus Hotel by Yoo is scheduled for spring 2014. The new enhancements will include a comprehensive makeover of the hotel space, including its 32 luxuriously appointed studios and 24 stylish and spacious suites. The rooms will be given fresh and creative finishes specifically catering to fast-living professionals and style-conscious travelers.
Once the redesign of the space is complete, J Plus Hotel by Yoo will become a definitive full-service destination set to exceed expectations of the most discerning travelling crowd. From expansive meeting spaces to some of the most elegant bedrooms in Hong Kong, J Plus Hotel by Yoo promises to carry on its creative, Starck-esque legacy.
Vivian Chau, General Manager, of J Plus Hotel by Yoo, states: “Awards, new projects, and of course new renovations have brought us many reasons to celebrate 10 successful years. We are proud to have once again partnered with Yoo Hotels in this exciting project to revitalize our iconic Philippe Starck hotel whilst also still remaining respectful of its history. Once the transformation is complete, J Plus Hotel by Yoo will be more than just a boutique hotel, it will be a declaration of love for fine design, fine living and unforgettable experiences.”
As a tribute to its 10 successful years, J Plus Hotel by Yoo will be introducing a year of style initiative known as ‘J+Yoo Style’ to reach out to Hong Kong’s creative and fashionconscious audience through various social programmes. The initiative is designed to build awareness for the great wealth of artistic talent in Hong Kong’s very own backyard and to help the city’s creative industry thrive.
J Plus originally opened in 2004, marking French design guru Philippe Starck's inaugural hotel in Asia. Renowned for Starck's signature, sleek interior design twinned with ultra-modern amenities, the boutique hotel is situated in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong's most thriving district, a crossroads between local and international cultures and a gateway to Hong Kong's central business district and a haven of chic shopping and restaurant experiences.
