Enjoy flavours of the Orient for Jasmine Afternoon TeaJumeirah Carlton Tower is celebrating the style and sophistication of the 17th century with a jasmine themed afternoon tea. The afternoon tea has been designed by master patissier Eric Lanlard, who has incorporated classics of the Orient with more traditional tea elements.
Eric Lanlard worked closely with the hotel’s Executive Chef Simon Young to create the themed menu. It includes a Jasmine tea smoked salmon and sesame seed bagel with wasabi mayonnaise, and prawn crackers with shredded duck, cucumber and a Hoi Sin sauce.
Sweets include a chocolate and lapsang souchong tea chopstick cake, and a delicate green tea madeleine topped with white chocolate and yuzu cream.
