Seaham Hall offers a breath of fresh air to businesses

Five star Seaham Hall, which overlooks the Durham heritage coastline and was recently voted Small Hotel of the Year at the North East England Tourism Awards, is extending its appeal to corporate clients.

Offering a variety of competitive and non-competitive outdoor games, activities and challenges within its 37 acre grounds designed to encourage team building and create unique and memorable events.

Along with traditional country pursuits, such as archery and laser clay shooting, it offers the opportunity for teams of employees or delegates to herd ducks and even learn the ancient art of falconry with British birds of prey.

Alternatively, for more energetic entertainment, Seaham Hall’s events team can organise a selection of large scale inflatable games and activities so teams can compete against each other in an It’s  A Knockout-style challenge.

In addition, the 20-suite hotel specialises in corporate fun days for which it can not only provide inflatable bouncy castles and slides and fun structures but also professional, corporate entertainers and clowns, face painting, rides and musical attractions.

The team of chefs from the hotel’s Blunos Sea Grill and Ozone restaurants – both overseen by culinary director Martin Blunos – can also provide outdoor barbecues and themed dining events if required.

Ross Grieve, general manager, said: “Along with the outdoor pursuits we also provide a number of indoor activities, such as interactive treasure hunts, cocktail shaking classes and even chocolate making workshops – and the scope and variety of activities we offer is key to our corporate appeal.

“Our award-winning spa and restaurants, not to mention our stunning location, also make Seaham Hall a perfect venue for employers wishing to reward outstanding or long serving staff or host important clients.”

All outdoor pursuits can be arranged as part of half or full day events and enjoyed informally or in a structured event format.
