100 Kings Road apart-hotel opens in central Reading

It is just a few days to go until House of Fisher opens the doors of 100 Kings Road which has come to the end of its startling transformation from an office block into Reading’s premier apart-hotel. Opening on January 6th 2014 after a top-to-toe makeover that took just under a year, the apart-hotel is today a smart and glossy residence with 50 apartments.

The entire Kings Road area is experiencing a massive rejuvenation and is a superb, central RG1 location for vibrant, cosmopolitan living. The 100 Kings Road apart-hotel scheme, a first in Reading, has already generated extremely positive feedback, with bookings for long and short stays secured in advance indicating an obvious demand for serviced accommodation in the centre of the town.

Unparalleled home comforts await guests in the selection of luxuriously furnished executive studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments. The apart-hotel is aimed at both business and leisure travellers and is a perfect hotel alternative for short or extended stays.

Balancing the style, convenience and hospitality of a hotel with the flexibility, privacy and space of a fully appointed private apartment, 100 Kings Road is designed for comfort and value.  The rooms are warm and welcoming and boast fully fully-equipped kitchens and plush separate living and dining areas.  A guest lounge area, onsite state of the art gym and 24-hour reception complete the picture for this exciting new residence.

House of Fisher chairman John Fisher said “We are incredibly excited and are really looking forward to opening the doors to 100 Kings Road. From the very start the vision for this project was to provide our clients with something different. We wanted to build in the highest standards of comfort and convenience plus provide a true 24/7 onsite service for all our residents. It’s a significant and exciting investment for Reading and will bring a greater vitality to this part of town.”
