The Blenheim Lakeside, which is run by Hotelier Conor O’Donovan, will rebrand as ‘Sefton Park Hotel’ just two years after the 30-year-old took over at the property.
Set in a grand Victorian villa, the Sefton Park Hotel is a 16 bedroom hotel, overlooking the boating lake in Sefton Park. The boutique style hotel is also home to the popular Michelangelo’s Restaurant which opened in July last year.
As part of the refurbishment the full interior of the hotel is being modernised, incorporating more contemporary elements to position itself accurately as a ‘superior competitively priced hotel’, and offering a higher standard of accommodation and services to its guests.
Conor O’Donovan said: “We have rebranded the hotel to increase its appeal to both new and existing customers. We want to enhance its reputation as a boutique yet competitively priced hotel, with an emphasis on style, customer service and comfort. This is a change in image to help position ‘Sefton Park Hotel’ more clearly for guests and those looking to plan a wedding or corporate event.”
This ambitious growth strategy will include a major rebranding of the hotel, seeing the name change ‘Sefton Park Hotel’ in order to closely reflect the new brand identity and the hotel’s location. Nevertheless the hotel will remain an independently ran business.
Conor added: “The decision to name the hotel ‘Sefton Park Hotel’ was due to the beautiful surroundings of the park itself. We hope the hotel will attract more new customers due to the overall enhanced offerings.
“The rebranding of the hotel makes this a very exciting time for everyone involved and will result in the creation of additional jobs in 2014. The main purpose is to create a prosperous future. Therefore regardless of the changes being made, we will continue to provide a strong focus of delivering a friendly warm welcome the best customer service.” The refurbishment of ‘Sefton Park Hotel’ is set to be finished by the end of March 2014.
