So much so that the hotel is now offering epicureans an unmissable package that not only highlights Jamie’s skills, but also features two other outstanding, world leading restaurants that have helped make Cornwall renowned across the globe as a foodie destination.
Priced from £320 per person, the hotel’s newly unveiled Gourmet Break combines a three night stay plus breakfast at the St Moritz with three incredible gastronomic experiences, each of them showcasing not only exemplary culinary skills, but the finest and most responsibly sourced local ingredients.
Arrive at this fabulous art deco inspired retreat and after unpacking, head to the hotel’s vibrant open plan restaurant where a magnificent five course tasting menu created by Jamie awaits.
On the second night guests will visit Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall, with its stunning views over Newquay’s Watergate Bay. Here they will be treated to five courses of rustic Italian dishes with a contemporary Cornish twist, all created by head chef Andy Appleton, who was part of the team that launched the pioneering Fifteen concept back in 2002.
The last evening offers a three course feast at Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in bustling Padstow port, still the aspirational place to eat fish and seafood in Cornwall. Savour head chef Stephane Delourme’s deceptively simple dishes, full of fresh and classic flavours and each one based on the famous recipes created by the county’s favourite adopted son.
