ME Madrid launches Ana La Santa Restaurant

ME Madrid, the capital’s famous hotel in the heart of the city, has announced the launch of their new restaurant, Ana la Santa. The group’s latest gastronomic adventure will bring a new culinary concept based on high quality produce, family recipes and the group’s innovative touch to Madrid’s busy plaza.

The design of the venue, masterminded by Tomás Tarruella and Perico Cortés, centres around the recreation of familiar spaces such as the living room, the local bar, a favourite restaurant or the garden. The interconnecting spaces interact with each other, creating a welcoming place for different moments.

A bar in the centre of the room welcomes visitors in from the street. The grand main entrance invites guests in to enjoy a ‘caña’ and some tapas. The menu consists of freshly prepared traditional tapas, such as Spanish tortilla, light potato salad, or a clam and white bean stew as well as tapas inspired from other cultures including chilli black beans, avocado toast with chipotle and tuna sashimi or steamed clams with sake.

The living room area is the ideal spot to read, enjoy a drink or to browse the web. Guests can catch up on the daily news, curl up with a book, or just watch the world go by through the window.

In the main dining room, located in the upper part of the room, you can admire the work of Spanish photographer Luis Baylon’s. The impactful works portray the vibrant day-to-day life of Madrid. Guests can retreat to the inner garden, a place of sanctuary from the noise of the city, and sit and eat surrounded by the cooling freshness of trees and plants.

In addition to the new restaurant, ME Madrid is also home to the newly revamped ROOF bar which provides the most exclusive urban retreat in the city centre. With access to breath-taking panoramic views of the city, it is the perfect bar to enjoy a cocktail at any time of day.
