Belvedere, one of only three Michelin starred restaurants in Sardinia, is set in a tropical garden with a creative menu offering Italian and Sardinian cuisine with a contemporary twist.
Chef, Antonelle Arrus, aged 52, was born in Teluda, southern Sardinia and studied at the prestigious culinary schools: ‘Le Notre’ Academy in Paris and ‘Etoile’ Academy in Venice. Arrus began his career at Forte Village in 1980 as a trainee and, after working in various luxury hotels around the world, returned to head up the exclusive Belvedere restaurant in 2003.
‘This star is a well-deserved recognition for the talent and consistency of Chef Antonello Arrus and his team’ – comments Lorenzo Giannuzzi, Managing Director, Forte Village Resort. ‘We are incredibly proud. The unwavering determination in Belvedere kitchen is undoubtedly integral to the success achieved, and this acknowledgement is testament to the team’s passion and commitment.’
‘We are extremely honoured to receive such an accolade,’ Chef, Antonello Arrus adds. ‘A Michelin star is the pinnacle of any chef’s career, and it will be an essential ingredient of our continuing creativity in the kitchen.’
