The new designs by world renowned interior designer, Alberto Pinto, will enhance all guest rooms and public areas.
The plans mark Alberto Pinto’s final project, before his death last year, and will see his legacy live on at The Lanesborough. Alberto Pinto set the standard for ‘Haute Interior Design’, and his signature ‘savoir faire’ has become synonymous with some of the world’s most spectacular interiors. His eclectic approach to residential decor and classic vision made him one of the most celebrated interior designers in the world, and perfectly complements the tastes and aesthetic of The Lanesborough.
The renovations will honour the building’s architectural heritage as one of London’s most revered Regency landmarks, and embodies the signature style that has become synonymous with The Lanesborough, whilst incorporating the latest in contemporary luxury and technological innovations.
The refurbishment will extend to all areas of the hotel including the 93 guest rooms and all Public Areas. During the closure, the hotel will continue to provide dedicated Reservations and Concierge services to their loyal guests.
Geoffrey Gelardi, Managing Director of The Lanesborough says: “Since we first opened 22 years ago, we have been dedicated to surpassing guest’s expectations with attention to detail and unrivalled service. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the hotel industry, undertaking regular updates, however this marks an unprecedented renovation project.
