Fizz in the city – new champagne bar launched in W1

Cumberland Hotel’s Momentus Bar
A stylish new champagne bar has been revealed in the heart of London’s West End in partnership with iconic champagne brand, Moët.
The Cumberland Hotel’s Momentus Bar serves six different types of Moët champagnes including Dom Pérignon and Veuve Clicquot as well as a long list of cocktails, spirits, wines and beers. Tapas style sharing dishes as a late bites menu served from 22.00 each evening also features on the menu including Thai green chicken curry, Casterbridge burgers and Cumberland sausage sandwiches.

The new look bar, which is based in the heart of the West End next to Oxford Street – has been revealed following a luxury makeover. The décor is rich and inviting with lavish chandeliers, plush mauve fabrics and contemporary furniture – the perfect location for a post work drink or for a catch up with friends.

General manager of The Cumberland Hotel, Ian Peck, comments: “This is a real hidden gem in an ideal central London location which has been designed by champagne lovers for champagne lovers. The new bar is part of our ongoing investment into the property and there are many more exciting things to come within the next 12 months.”

Those looking for something more traditional can also indulge their taste buds with a spot of traditional afternoon tea in the opulent surroundings, all washed down, of course, by a glass of Moët Dom Pérignon champagne, from £31.95 per head.

Champagne lovers can also take advantage of the bar’s loyalty card which offers a free glass of bubbly for every five glasses purchased (one stamp per person, one per day only).

The Cumberland Hotel is ideally located in the heart of London’s West End close to Oxford Street and Hyde Park. The hotel is known for its modern and contemporary design as well as the collection of striking art which is showcased to guests and visitors in the lobby.
