The Clubhouse, opens at Hilton London Syon Park

The Clubhouse at Hilton London Syon Park
Hilton London Syon Park has announced its new restaurant, The Clubhouse which having soft opened in September, opens officially this month.  Headed up by Executive Chef, Paula O'Neill, The Clubhouse, will provide a casual and affordable dining alternative to the hotel's acclaimed fine dining restaurant, The Capability .

Riding on 2013's prevailing dining trends, which cite a continued shift from smart formality to relaxed sophistication, The Clubhouse will offer hotel guests and visiting Londoners a stylish space to kick back and enjoy great food at reasonable prices, in a relaxed yet buzzy atmosphere.

Inspired by UK restaurant trends for simplicity of choice and passion for provenance, Chef Paula has monitored what's hot this year and selected a number of on-trend dishes.  The restaurant's menu takes classic favourites such as burgers, hotdogs and pizzas and gives them an inspired twist.

In a nod to the nation's current "burger bubble", the menu features artisan burgers including The Easto Burger with pork and beef mince in a chilli beer brioche, The Mac Jagger, 100% beef with coriander and banana shallot, and The Hot Bird, with southern fried chicken and charred chorizo and mango salsa.

Hotdogs include clever combinations such as Bratwurst with Applewood smoked cheese and bacon, and Toulouse sausage with sweet onion jam and Gouda.  The increasingly popular "hipster pizza" also makes an appearance on the menu, with Chef Paula using fresh flavours and carefully sourced ingredients to create a new take on toppings.  Examples include Somerset goat's cheese, Grana Padano,  Gruyère and mozzarella with caramelised onions, or pesto chicken, sundried tomatoes and sweet red onions with pine nuts.

'The Clubhouse offers a new dining experience that has been missing at London Syon Park and it will add great value to our guests stay.  It's trendy, casual and fun and offers an additional area for relaxation.' Executive Chef, Paula O'Neill

And why named 'The Clubhouse'? Located in a separate wing of the hotel, the restaurant area is flanked by a separate bar, a chill-out lounge (also available for private dining) and a games room - the various spaces evoking the spirit of a private member's club.  These areas, including the restaurant, are available for private hire, making The Clubhouse the perfect venue to mark milestones, for boys' and girls' weekends away and for hosting corporate functions.

The Clubhouse will open from Sunday to Thursday from 6pm until 10 pm, whilst The Capability restaurant is open for dinner Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm until 10pm. Main course prices at The Clubhouse start from £11.50. As the venue can be hired for exclusive use, reservations are advised.
