From October 24th to 30th 2013, hotel guests can dine at the stunning Villa Beach restaurant and sample the ‘Guest of the Galvins’ tasting menu. Jeff Galvin, known along with his brother Chris for their quality French cuisine, will bring his culinary expertise and expert knowledge of seasonal ingredients to Dubai to create a selection of five starters, five main courses and five desserts.
Diners can choose from a number of dishes such as Lasagne of Crab, Slow-cooked Pyrenees Lamb Shoulder and Tagine of Bresse Pigeon. Delicious desserts such as Prune and Armagnac Parfait or Apple Tarte Tartin will provide the perfect finale. Alongside Jeff in the kitchen will be Zac Whittle, Head Chef of Galvin La Chapelle, one of the Galvin’s acclaimed restaurants.
A private cooking class will then be held for hotel guests on 27th October by The Galvin Brothers at the SunDeck Lounge in Jumeirah Beach Hotel where foodie fans will be welcomed into the Galvin family as they learn from the very best - Jeff will share his top tips and the culinary passion that has enabled the brothers to work in some of the world’s finest restaurants and hotels.
