‘Blue Sky under Blue Skies’ new meeting programme at Hotel L’Avenida, Mallorca

Hotel L’Avenida, located in the centre of picturesque Soller on Mallorca’s dramatic west coast, has launched a brand new meetings and incentive programme called ‘Blue Sky under Blue Skies’ for meeting planners and event organisers, this autumn and winter.

Wrapped within the shell of a century old Modernist mansion and framed by magnificent views of the surrounding Tramuntana Mountains the intimate 11-bedroom hotel, its cosy bar, dining room and courtyard garden provide an exclusive backdrop for top level planning, brainstorming or team-building events.

Supported by expert staff, the venue offers a large naturally lit meeting room for up to 16 delegates (seated horse-shoe style), with mountains views and all the modern facilities expected. These include complimentary wifi, secretarial support, facilitation services and transport to and from the airport, which is 25 minutes away.

In addition the hotel can organise a number of ‘break out challenge activities’ for delegates to complement the group discussions and bring the meeting to life. These might include a ‘Fet-A-Soller’ local ice-cream challenge; a wine tasting challenge at a local vineyard or a relaxing Yoga workshop that has been specifically designed to free-up the mind for creative thinking.

After the work has been completed the hotel is well placed for a number of outside activities from hiking through the valleys, biking in the mountains and exploring the colourful local markets to canyoning and other water-based activities off the coast.

Exclusive use of the hotel is available between 1st November 2013 and 10th February 2014 based on a minimum 3-night stay and costs 1,500 Euros per day (£1,268) to include 11 double bedrooms, daily breakfast plus IVA at 10%. This equates to an average room rate 136 euros (£115) per person.

The DDR is 45 euros per person (£35.50) (plus IVA) and includes hire of the room, wifi, projection equipment, TV and DVD equipment, secretarial support, plus two break-outs sessions each day for tea, coffee and pastries and a buffet lunch.

Dinner is served on two of the evenings at 25 Euros per person (£22) per night to include a three course evening meal plus welcome Cava cocktail.  The third evening will be hosted in a typical local Mallorcan restaurant at 30 Euros per person (£25).

Airport transfers are 55 Euros per person (£46.35).
