Dusit hosts Grand Opening of Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi

Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi
A glittering reception was held last week in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s capital city to announce the Grand Opening of Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, Dusit International’s fifth property in the Middle East.
Local dignitaries and VIPs joined Dusit International’s executive team at the gala event, which saw a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a tour and sampling of the hotel’s restaurants, take place.

Standing at 37 storeys, only 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre, Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi is well on its way to achieving landmark status. Blending the best of both cultures, the hotel’s design exudes Arabian grandeur imbued with touches of Thai warmth. 402 guest rooms are on offer as well as 131 deluxe serviced apartments, five world-class dining outlets and a spacious Conference Centre that can host up to 2,000 guests.

The innovative design of the Conference Centre’s pre-function area, with its stunning glass-panelled Skydome, and the convenience of each state-of-the-art function room makes Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi the perfect venue to host a memorable event. The hotel also boasts the third highest hotel atrium in the world.

The DFiT Health Club sits on the 19th floor with stunning vistas over the capital's skyline, providing a true retreat for the health-conscious. Namm Spa completes the experience, with eight luxurious treatment suites that create a serene urban sanctuary for guests to relax and pamper themselves.

“We are very proud to present this latest property here in Abu Dhabi, the UAE's center of industry, culture and commerce,” says Mr Chanin Donavanik, Dusit International Managing Director and CEO. “We have had a presence in the Middle East for well over a decade, and Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi is a symbol of our continued commitment to developing in the region.”
