Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants invites guests to ‘Raid The Bar’

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants today announced a significant upgrade to its list of Kimpton InTouch loyalty perks. Named “Raid the Bar,” the new perk puts the company’s popular local bars, restaurants and star bartenders into play by allowing members a £6 ($10) credit per visit toward a deliciously crafted cocktail or drink of choice at the participating Kimpton bar.

The perk is an expansion of the popular “Raid the Mini Bar” loyalty programme, offering members a £6 ($10) credit toward any mini bar item in the hotel room. In the spirit of personal preferences, Kimpton now offers members a choice on where to spend the credit.

“Raid the Bar is our way of saying thanks for our members’ loyalty and giving them the choice to enjoy our bars. We know our guests love the social aspect of Kimpton programmes, such as our nightly hosted Wine Hour, so this was a natural fit to extend member benefits,” said Mike DeFrino, COO of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. “Our ‘Raid the Mini Bar’ programme has long been one of our InTouch members’ favourite perks and we wanted to include our stellar bars to help further enrich our guests’ travel experience.”

Launched in 2004, the Kimpton InTouch loyalty programme goes beyond the typical points system to include unique perks and amenities such as complimentary access to Wi-Fi in all hotels, Raid the Bar credit, exclusive hotel and restaurant offers, in-room spa credits, complimentary nights following repeat stays, a newspaper of choice and personalised room preferences to make members feel more at home while on the road.
