Devised by Executive Head Chef Paul Feery, the menu offers a choice of either two or three courses, with a wide selection of meat, fish and vegetable dishes suitable for the colder months.
Guests will encounter new and exciting flavours from an assortment of seasonal produce as chosen by Paul and the team.
He said: “We are very pleased with the new menu, which has been created using only the best fresh ingredients harvested this season. We have combined both light and rich meals to satisfy customers’ taste buds as we transition into the autumn months and we’ve worked hard to develop dishes that will delight a variety of palates.”
The new menu offers an array of warming starters including Chicken and Vegetable Terrine, Spanish Omelette and Blakes’ popular Soup of the Day. There are main courses such as Smoked Haddock and Potato Fishcake, Flash Steak with Fries and Roasted Red Pepper Piedmontese, while diners can complete their meal with deserts including Apple and Vanilla Cheesecake and Lemon Sponge with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Blakes Restaurant is open to residents and non-residents alike and creates the perfect setting for a romantic dinner for 2 or parties of up to 22 guests right in the centre of the city.
Paul added: “The comforting warm atmosphere of Blakes, fused with the new seasonal menu, offers guests the chance to celebrate the arrival of the cool and crisp autumn days and nights. We look forward to welcoming both new and existing customers.”
This new menu is available Tuesday to Friday 12pm-2.30pm/6pm-7pm and Saturday 12pm-6pm. Prices start at £11.95 for two courses and £14.95 for three courses.
