Dolce Hotels and Resorts awarded management of Dolce CampoReal Lisbon

Dolce Hotels and Resorts has announced it has been awarded the management of Dolce CampoReal Lisbon, a meetings destination and golf resort within close proximity to the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, 20 minutes from the Atlantic beaches along the country’s west coast.

With a portfolio of 26 upscale hotels, resorts and conference centres across North American and Europe, the new address marks Dolce’s seventh in Europe. The hotel is currently owned by Discovery Fund, a restructuring fund for the tourism sector who acquired the hotel located in Torres Vedras.

“The addition of Dolce CampoReal Lisbon furthers our European expansion while keeping within our strategy of operating properties in close proximity to major cities and airports,” said Steven A. Rudnitsky, president & chief executive officer of Dolce Hotels & Resorts.

He added; “CampoReal has much to offer leisure and business travellers as well as group and corporate meeting clientele seeking convenience to Lisbon and the coast.”

Pedro Seabra, partner of Explorer Investment (Discovery Fund’s advisors) added; “Dolce’s expertise in the MICE segment, coupled with the experience of Dolce as a branded operator for a meetings and conference property, made them a natural choice for management of the hotel.”

Wrapped in a beautiful rural setting within the vineyards of the Estremadura region in the Torres Vedras district, just North of Lisbon and near the ‘Silver Coast,’ Dolce CampoReal Lisbon is a distinctively elegant and modern resort with 151 hotel rooms, three restaurants, three lounges, a challenging 18-hole golf course, spa, fitness and equestrian centre.

An inspiring and ideal setting for meetings and events, Dolce CampoReal Lisbon features an abundance of natural light, interior function spaces and enchanting gardens and terraces for business meetings, wedding receptions and gatherings of all types.

The property will be featuring up to 1,925 sqm of conference space through 20 function rooms with total capacity for up to 500 people. The resort’s main Hall runs 489 sqm and has the capability to be divided into smaller rooms to suit client needs. Whatever the occasion, guests who stay overnight can look forward to experiencing the many offerings and manicured beauty of the resort.

On the negotiations with Dolce, the Discovery Fund and Explorer Investments were also supported by Dynamic Hotels.
