Festive celebrations at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

Throughout 2013 Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is celebrating its 50th Golden Anniversary, and as the year draws to a close it promises to offer guests a festive Golden celebration. The hotel’s Festive Family Celebration package includes accommodation in a luxurious suite and a complimentary room for children. Tasty home-made festive treats, daily breakfast and a late checkout at 4pm are included in this package, as well as amenities for children ranging from cots for babies, to Wii and X-Box game consoles for teenagers and a wide selection of family DVDs. Rates start from HKD9,299 per night.

The two night Golden Celebration package includes a bottle of Champagne and home-made tasty festive treats on arrival, daily breakfast, a USD50 spa credit and a specially designed 50th anniversary gift to take home.

Michelin-starred restaurant chefs have created a range of tempting menus using only the finest seasonal ingredients, and these are offered throughout the hotel’s award-winning restaurants and bars. These include the Michelin-starred Pierre, where the drama of spectacular harbour views is combined with innovative French gourmet dinner menus by Pierre Gagnaire and with exquisite service. The Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar will showcase the season’s best traditional dishes with a dash of progressive gastronomy.
