Cyprus hotel offers scenic, hillside venue with traditional cuisineThe independent, family-run boutique property, Paradisos Hills Hotel in the Akamas Peninsula of Western Cyprus, is promoting ‘back to nature’ weddings to UK couples.
The 15-bedroom boutique hotel, located just outside the traditional Cypriot village of Lysos, boasts a mountainous forest location, for weddings with stunning views across hillsides and down to the sea.
Founded in September 2005 by Andreas Demetriou, the hotel provides a unique wedding experience, offering traditional Cypriot hospitality, peace and tranquillity. With its scenic costal views, the hotel is perfectly situated for adventurous mountain biking and hiking trails, and also ideal for bird-watching and horse riding, pre- or post-ceremony.
In Cyprus couples can choose either a Civil or Religious Wedding Ceremony, with all ceremonies conducted in English. Marriage licences, as well as all paperwork, are also issued in English, making it an ideal location for UK couples. For those wanting a religious ceremony, they should have two ceremonies, both civil and church.
With professional and experienced Wedding co-ordinators on hand to organise the day, couples can relax – having all the admin, including marriage licenses and legalities, taken care of.
Soulla Charalambous, Co-Owner of Paradisos Hills Hotel, states: “When it comes to creating an unforgettable occasion, here at Paradisos Hills Hotel we have the right mix of old world charm and exceptional service to make your wedding unique and special. Our ‘back to nature weddings’ are proving a hit with Brits, wanting a more authentic experience.”
Paradisos Hills Hotel offers three nuptial packages – Peal (€ 700), Harmony (€ 800) and Eternity (€ 9.900,00), with the latter offering a 7-days exclusive stay at Paradisos Hills Hotel & Retreat, for the entire wedding party of up to 30 guests. These prices are non-inclusive of VAT, and other local taxes are subject to price fluctuations. The hotel also offers B&B and Half Board options, and is 14 kilometres from the beaches of Polis Chrysochou and 45 kilometres from Paphos International Airport.
