Kimpton’s Hotel Madera, Washington D.C. launches "Farm to Table to Bed" package  

Kimpton’s Hotel Madera, in the heart of Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. has introduced a new “Farm to Table to Bed” package. After enjoying a Saturday night at the cosy boutique hotel, guests can roll out of bed and head to the FRESHFARM Markets at Dupont Circle to discover the seasonal offerings. Afterwards, guests can return to the hotel to enjoy a brunch at the restaurant, Firefly, featuring ingredients sourced directly from the farmers and artisanal producers at the market.

Ten percent of the proceeds from the hotel package will go directly back to FRESHFARM Markets, the non-profit organisation that runs the market at Dupont Circle as well as 11 other producer-only markets in the D.C. region, making it the leading voice for farmers markets and with their five educational programs, a national leader in the local food movement.

A neighbourhood gem, located in the heart of the ‘old-city’, the hotel boasts 82 unique guestrooms, meeting space, as well as the award-winning Firefly Restaurant. The “Farm to Table to Bed” Package includes:
• Deluxe accommodations in a newly renovated guestroom with late check-out at 2:00 p.m.
• Brunch for two at Firefly featuring seasonal fare by Executive Chef Todd Wiss, incorporating fresh produce from FRESHFARM Markets farmers such as Black Rock Orchards
• Keepsake welcome amenity of handmade herbal soap from Harmony Creek Farm
• Complimentary seasonality guide and reusable market bag to take to the FRESHFARM Markets at Dupont Circle on Sunday morning
• $10 of FRESHFARM Market Dollars, to be used towards produce at market
• Ten percent of all proceeds from the package will benefit FRESHFARM Markets, the local farmers’ market non-profit in Washington, D.C.

All packages are based on availability, and must include a Saturday night stay. Some date restrictions may apply. Rates start at £160 ($249) per night for the “Farm to Table to Bed” Package and can be booked directly online.
