The Dining Room at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is a leading location for breakfast in the heart of fashionable Knightsbridge, under the guidance of Executive Chef Chris Tombling. The Dining Room is flooded with light and has beautiful views across Royal Hyde Park, and throughout the summer season breakfast is also served alfresco on the tranquil Terrace, in the country garden-like backdrop, far from the London buzz.  

New this summer, breakfast at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is also available in the restaurant’s intimate Private Dining Room. Commanding a view across the entire dining room and parkland beyond, the Private Dining Room offers an elegant and adaptable setting for a more private breakfast business meeting as well as delicious gatherings and celebrations with family and friends. Designed by Adam Tihany, the room is Tudor-inspired, with deep-red walls, beautiful wood panelling and a central chandelier that boasts the largest hand-blown glass piece in Britain. Served family-style or individually plated, breakfast in the Private Dining Room is prepared by a dedicated team of talented Chefs, with the choices of continental (£24 per person), à la carte (£32 per person) or a breakfast canapé selection (£35 per person) for up to 10 guests, exclusive of a £300 room hire charge.  

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has also introduced two new Wellness Gastronomy™ breakfasts, working with French Naturopath Liliane Israel. The Light Delights, suitable for weight management, and the Vitality, containing more selected carbohydrates for additional energy, breakfasts are created using whole, natural ingredients, abundant in anti-oxidants, and served raw or lightly cooked to preserve their nutritional values. Guests can start the day with a balanced mix of healthy dishes including pomegranate juice, mango mousse, cottage cheese, whole wheat toasts, special eggs Royale on buckwheat and chickpea flour blinis with Smoked Salmon topped with Gourmet Healthy Delights cream, tofu baked in tahini with spinach and sesame seeds. A specific tasting sequence is recommended to maximize the benefits out of these new breakfasts.  

Breakfast in the Dining Room at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is served from 6.30 to 10.30am weekdays and from 7am weekends.
